Bleach - Episode 274 - Hitsugaya's Desperate Frozen-Heavens Countless Ornate Entombment! - Review and Summary

Summary:

The majority of the episode was focussed around Harribel and Hitsugaya. Harribel releases and fires some water at Hitsugaya, who turns it into ice. When Hitsugaya attacks back Harribel turns his ice dragon into water and attacks back surprising him, using her special technique, cascade.

Hitsugaya attacks again, Harribel turns his ice into water, then Hitsugaya appears behind her and turns the water back into ice and slashes at her. Encasing her in ice. There is a short break from Hitsugaya and Harribel's fight and we see Kyoraku and Spark who are pretty much fake fighting. Kyoraku gets Spark to use his cero, which is a nice deep blue.

Then we go back to the right between Hitsugaya and Harribel who uses her cero, which interestingly enoug she fires with her sword.

Hitsugaya shields himself using the wings of his bankai. When Harribel catches back up to him she tells him no more running. He informs her he knows they're both waiting for the area to fill with water but says after that he doesn't need to wait, just when it look like he's about to go all out, he looks down and notices all the injured and decides against it, instead he uses sennen hyoro and encases her in ice, but of course that doesn't work and she turns it all into ice and uses cascade again, except this one is much more powerful since there was a lot more ice to be made into water.

Hitsugaya uses ryusenka and turns the massive cascade into ice, which takes a lot out of him. He crashes down to the ground, his wings barely holding. Harribel comes saying he made a sacrifice but then cold air comes, his wings reform, black clouds roll in, and Hitsugaya says the heavens are under his control. Hyoten Hyakkaso!! TO BE CONTINUED...

Thoughts:

Great episode, I love Hitsugaya and it was nice seeing him fight with the majority of his abilities. Harribel is great fun to watch to, I like her character. I can't wait till next week, whilst I did read it, I really would love to see it.
