Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao - Episode 2

This episode opens up with Soga as a young girl crying at what appears to be a funeral. Sai is standing next to her and gives her a bird charm.
The same one that we see when Soga goes invisible.

Korone tells him that he has to meet with the headmaster, soga flees invisible and Sai goes with Korone. When he meets the head master he seems serious. He quickly cheers up and says that he’s sure he will become an infamous criminal, mass murderer, something. Probably start a war too, but he’s his student. the headmaster requested that the government keep 24/7 tabs on him for his observation and protection to stop trouble before it happens.

He meets with the home room teacher and talks with her briefly about what happened during both of his fights. Mitsuko at the end smiles and tells him that if he ever wants to die to just tell her so that she can get to the body quickly. She seems to have an obsession with wanting him dead so she can bring him back to life and experiment on him, since laws are more slack for the undead.

The funniest part of this episode for me is when he had to go to sleep with Korone watching him. He orders her to go to sleep like she asked and she gets in bed with him very skimpily dressed just to teach him. Eventually she goes to the top of his closet to go to sleep but peaks and looks at him. When he notices the conversation went like this.

um...
yes?
are you teasing me?
 a little.
are you avhing fun.
 al ittle
that's great,
 yes

It was so simple, cute, and funny.

The next morning he meets Fujiko, the schools idol and head of the girl’s dormitory. She seems overly nice and wants to help Sai it seems.
Fujiko says that she wants to meet with him later without korone. While in the bathroom he calls her and explains that he wants to make up with Junko. Sai is worried about how he is going to get to meet her without korone so Fujiko tells him how to deactivate her. Pull her tail. Meanwhile Korone outside of sai’s stall is going around looking at boys penises, sending everyone running.

While in the lunch room Sai explains to korone that he wants to go to a secluded spot so that he can get away from everyone. She warns him that there are monsters there but he doesn’t seem to mind. Hiroshi begins saying that he’s taking her up there to have sex with her. As he begins leaving with Korone continues with the joke saying to be gentle.

On the way up to the secluded area Sai tries to see where the tail is and bends down to look under her skirt. Soga, in invisible form is there and hits him over the head. When they turn back around they run into a gigantic dog. Which is just a normal dog that’s absorbed too much mana.   Korone shoots a bullet at the dog but it gets smashed against the dogs teeth. When korone busts out a huge attachment to the gun sai runs to the dog and tells her to wait. His hand starts glowing and he puts his hand on the dog and the dog reverts to what it was before, a puppy. He took the mana out of the dog, something no other mage has done before according to Korone. She is surprised that he saved her since his primary MO is to hurt girls and peak under their skirts.

He puts the dog down which leads us to the next funny part of this episode. The dog begins to chase around the bird pendant, which of course is Soga but invisible. Soga beings to screams and runs away.  Sai sees the perfect opportunity to shut down Korone and does right when Fujiko appears. Fujiko says she’s going to set up a meeting and give sai a gun that shoots weird pink pills that make people understand eachother. He reactivates Korone when Fujiko leaves and finds Soga stuff when they hear her scream. Sai chases after her when Soga bumps into Sai and reappears naked. She’s naked, screaming, and hugging tightly to Sai so that he can’t see her. Korone comes back and says that he’s tryin to molest her and that she’s going to take him into custody. He begs with soga to tell what happened but she has one condition. He agrees to whatever it was and Soga tells the story and tells what the condition is. Which is to be her friend.

After that fujiko is having a chat with Junko and tells her and she was threatened by Sai. Fujiko wants sai just so that she can have control of the demon lord. I’m not sure what to make of this, but I’m pretty sure Fujiko has a brother complex being that she makes out with her dead brothers head.

Overall it was a good episode. Not as funny as the first or the third (which I’ll be reviewing later) but it still had its tremendously funny moments.

Oh haha, Korone.

Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao - Episode 1

I started this anime today. It's really good, funny, and interesting. I just watched the first episode and I'm going to watch the other 3 today. So far I like it very much.

At the start of the series we see a woman dropping off a covered baby in what seems to be a church. I'm not sure who the baby is as of yet but I think it's safe to assume it's Akuto Sai

The main character of the series is Akuto Sai a young man whose just transferred to Konstantin Magical Academy. Transfer students are rare as the series says and for Akuto Sai to be part of the school must mean he's exceptional.

He meets a girl, Junko Hattori while he is on his way to the train that goes to the school. He begins helping an old woman who dropped her things and while he is helping her Hattori appears and attacks him thinking he is trying to harass her grandmother. The grandmother explains then Hattori apologize although it isn't a very heartfelt one.

While on the train they swear that they will make the world a better place. Akuto Sai's ambition is to be a high priest, A popeish figure in the series. Hattori is taken aback and first and tells him he can't make a single mistake, even littering is enough to disqualify him, but he is determined. When they arrive at school they hope Akuto Sai is in homeroom 1-a, the same as Junko Hattori and they go their separate ways. Akuto is met by Mitsuko Torii, the doctor and researcher of the school, who also happens to be the teacher of homeroom 1-a.

Akuto is sent into another room where other transferred students are located and a magical mechanical bird that tells students what their future occupations are to be. The bird has a great track record and always picks to correct job and the job the student has always wanted; however, that is not the case for poor Akuto Sai

He is chosen to be the demon lord! Poor Akuto Sai who wanted to be a high priest is destined to become the second coming of the demon lord, the man who caused much destruction 100 years ago. From then on, as you can see from the picture above, everyone becomes terrified, except for one boy. Hiroshi Miwa, Akuto's self proclaimed minion.

An annoyed Junko challenges Akuto to a duel. She felt betrayed and fooled and believes Akuto's real aim wasn't to be a high priest but to be the demon lord. While they are fighting Akuto releases a powerful explosion which destroys the classroom despite Mitsuko creating a type of barrier around them. Junko beaten is laying on the floor unconscious.

Later in the episode Akuto uses Hiroshi's advice and sneaks around the back of the girls dorm and climbs up to Junko's window so he can apologize. This doesn't go over well as other students yell that they heard they tried to commit suicide together and other ridiculous accusations. Junko jumps out and begins to attack him again. He runs into the forest and is met by Keena Soga who apparently loves his body. The episode ends with Junko in a murderous frenzy launching an attack and Keena jumping to protect Akuto. As she holds on to Akuto's body he releashes another explosion, this one, massive since it's not held back by a barrier like the first one. Again we see Junko laying unconscious. When another girl, Korone, a observer, appears.

From what I've seen this anime holds great promise. The story is fun and engaging and if you like harem, this seems to be the way to go. If you don't like harem  but like magic and comedies, you should consider watching it.
